Thinking about getting this. Not sure yet, I've been wanting a good fighting game to get into and this is one of the best ever.
It's really a shame they didn't go with SF4 graphics for this. A complete re-make would have been nice. Maybe if this sells well they'll do a Marvel Vs Capcom 3 and Truly update the graphics. Also I wish they'd stay close to the Marvel characters powers as in the comics... Come on, Hulk vs Zangief? Zangief's strength would be at Top "human" conditioning, But, The Hulk gets infinately stronger the madder he gets. His strength is Unlimited. That's no contest. The Hulk would beat Zangief's brains out. Same for Spidey vs Strider. Hmm, how many "Ninja Type" guys has Spidey beaten in the comics? Too many to name much less count. No contest there either. Then again if they went with that logic the game would be really unbalanced so I guess they did the right thing. Still they could have thrown in a story line to explain why the Marvel characters were "powered down" like Midway did when they made MK vs DC to explain why the DC characters such as Superman were under powered.
I've been waiting so long for this game. oh and BTW cable is the cheapest character in the game. His beam is cheap and his special is practically inescapable
wow i think it's odd that some comments make it sound like some people have never heard of this game.
I may have to buy a Gamecube again if the review is good. Oh this isn't the gamecube? Oh my >.
i have been waiting for this games for the longest time i even still have the demo...all i know is that i am going to kick ass!!!
I still own the PS2 version of this game (LOVE IT) and I'm happy about this game being released for the people who haven't played the game, don't own it, and now don't have to pay HUGE $ money to own a copy!:) enjoy;)
too bad they didnt HD it...woulda been an instant buy for me. but since i already have it for ps2 i dont c a point.
After playing the demo, I think I'll stick with my PS2 version of this game. The filter they used to upscale the sprite looks odd and ugly in HD, I rather see the blurred pixel of the PS2 upscaling. Good thing King of Fighters XII goes a new way and proves that 2D fighters are not just confined to remakes.
I simply cannot wait for this game to come out. I've been waiting for this for a VERY LONG time.

LOL! There is absolutely no way in hell Bison would own Magneto. Magneto is one of the top characters in the game. But thanks for trying!
