The thing that made this game for me, would be the crazy combos that you can do. I find myself still playing this game til this day, practicing air combos and trying to time my assist partners. The graphics could be better, but most 2D fighting games are not played for the graphics, but for the game play. I remember the first time I played this game, I thought I was the best player in the world, only after 5 hours of playing it. My mind was changed, quick, fast and in a hurry. In my mind, this was the first game of it's kind. The replay value for Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is amazing. I started playing this in high school and I am still playing to this day.
