Though i must say that i havnt really played the consol version of it, the arcade game takes you back gives you a wide variety of players and options. The combos are not only flashy but you feel accomplished when you can pull one off. I cant myself get very far into the game before i start losing and have to do less button smashing and more thought... oh well i enjoy this game. To me the game takes you back. its like playing a fun soul calibur. While in an arcade situation the soul calibur has better graphics and maybe is more balanced, it doesnt have the effect that marvel vs capcom has... i think that the latter is much more personally enjoyable. it kind of takes you back to when 2d was just fine as long as you could do lots of cool things that were as flashy as enjoyable.
