Quite a fall from the original.

Too many repeat characters, too few new ones, only two costume options? While visually stunning, the game felt as if it lacked something that the original had, still haven't quite figured out what though. The Civil War storyline was OK as a comic but had great potential as a game plot. Again I wish I could be more succinct in whats missing, but whatever it is, it was a tangible void for all of us. I would have love to have had more characters, first and foremost, but I'm not sure that would have fixed things. The power sets are clones too, Hulk/Thing/Juggy are pretty much same powersets etc. The future DLC makes me a bit angry as well, setting up a situation where games promise casts of hundreds, except they'll be released slowly over months and you'll need to pay for each.
While this my be a petty complaint, using the unlock all characters code disables saving, meaning not only is the cast list short, if you don't like what you're given you still have to play most of the game with them to get who you do want. I guess, after so much hype, and after how amazing Ultimate Alliance was, UA2 was a tremendous disappointment and I'm very sad to have said it.
