There's A Reason Why This Sucks So Hard. Here's Why:

Ouch!

Okay, so I pretty much gave my soul to MUA on all the gaming consoles, and I was SO THRILLED that they captured (and expanded) everything the console games hand. MUA on the PSP was a spitting image of it's big brother.

When I heard MUA2 was gonna come out, and I was excited with the storyline they chose, I basically needed a spitoon contain my excitement. I mean, LOVE the idea of the Mutant Civil War. That's some real political isht right there.

As soon as this game was released, I picked it up on my favorite device: my PSP, ready for a fun superhero frollic like I had with MUA. If my PSP had bricked on me at the end of the game, it probably would have done me a world of good.

MUA2 on the PSP is the SAME EXPERIENCE (recieve that) that you get on the Nintendo Wii, and that is not a good one. See, little did I know until I picked the game up for the 360 that there were, technically, two versions of this game, the one on the 360 actually being playable.

On the PSP/Wii version, you really don't see much of a change in story depending what side you choose. Actually, you don't see much of anything on this one. the character graphics look great, but the locales as well as the way the graphics handle are... whoa. Is this really a game that was released in 2009? Looks more like 1999...

Do yourself a favor and pretend this never happened. I had to play through (and still am, thankfully) MUA2 a few times on the 360 to forget this shares the same moniker. I was so annoyed that I thought Activision was gonna call the PSP/Wii one a sequel. Good to know they put the real sequel on the real systems.

Verdict: Skip this one entirely. If you see it in a game store, run far. And fast.
