Even though this game feels stripped from it's predecessor, it does deliver fast paced action expected from Marvel.

This is an alright game. If you like the first one you will like this one as well.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 is loosely based off of the Civil War story-line. I was hoping that it would of followed it more correctly though. They took away a lot of the fun stuff from the first one (special throw moves, only limited to 4 power moves, only one alternate costume instead of 3, no special dialogue, and a bunch of other things). When you choose sides it doesn't feel divided either. It just makes it so you can't choose 3 people instead of half. Certain people should of been on the other side too instead of neutral (Spider-Man, Daredevil (even though he wasn't in it, he was in jail and it was Iron Fist in his costume), Mr. Marvel, The Thing to name a few when they took a stand and plus the X-Men weren't even involved). They messed up Mr. Fantastic so he blows now. They off balance some of the character in this so they are more powerful than they should be.

But on a good note the Fusions are fun to watch. They do have some nice graphics. They beefed up the girls in this one so they are awesome to play (unlike the first one where they all sucked except for Invisible Woman). So now it feels like Mr. Marvel and Storm when you play. It's fun to play with other people as well but the lobby for online play is not very good though. You can't find individual players you want to join in. Instead it jumps you to who ever is first available. The different path experience is fun. Some nice sound as well.

This game does suck you in even though though there are a lot of bad things in it. Overall I would say a 7.5/10.
