Mario Superstar Baseball is a first rate Mario Sports game. It's crazy gimmicks will keep you playing and laughing.

Mario Superstar Baseball is the first baseball game in the Mario Sports series. It is one of the best games on the Gamecube. The graphic are what you'd expect from the Gamecube and a Mario game, nothing special but not as bad as some. The game is definately not lacking in one player mode. There is exhibition mode for players looking for a short game. There is also a story mode, which has you scouting for players to join your team to beat Bowser in a baseball game. There is four dificulties. Mushroom, Flower, Star, and Special. These get progressively harder to scout the players and to beat the opponents. There is seven mini-games to play each of which having to do with a single skill, running bases, aiming hits, smacking homeruns, pitching speed, and throwing to the right bases. The other two minigames are unlockable and are more for the fun than the practice. There is a mode called Toy Field that according to the game is "fun for parties." The players take turns batting and pitching and they get runs, hits, etc. based on what area of the field the ball lands on. In the end Mario Superstar Baseball is a one of a kind game, unless the make a sequel.
