Mario Party-e is an effortless attempt to make a card game but the minigames add a little value.

Mario Party-e is a card game and a video game. I picked up mine for $1.50 at K-Mart and played it with my sister. First, you get a foldable paper board and instruction booklet and a deck of cards. To play you are trying to get stars and coins and you can even get clothes.

There are only a few cards that you use the E-Reader for and they are minigame cards. Some of these minigames are interesting but there aren't enough of them and they are all very short and some just plain suck. The actual card game is a little bit fun but it seems bland and like Nintendo put little effort into the creation of this project.

The graphics look dated for Gameboy Advance but they aren't bad either. The music is allright but there is only music and graphics on the E-reader part of the game. The cards look nice and the characters drawn on them are straigh from Mario Party 4 and look great.

Overall, Mario Party-e the card game is not all too fun and loses it's value soon. However, occasionally you'll want to play the minigames on the cards but other than that it'sonly worth it if you pay no more than a few dollars.
