User Rating: 8.5 | Mario Party Advance GBA
Mario's first party game for GBA isn't as hugely multiplayer as others in the series, but with a one-player adventure using luck, logic, knowledge and sometimes a good sense of humor, Mario Parties before have never been as unique as this one. In Mario Party Advanced, Bowser has scattered the Gaddgets made by E. Gadd himself over Party Land, and Mario and Luigi, as well as Yoshi and Peach must collect the Gadgetts and help the townspeople to help stop Bowser and his Koopa Kid from bringing doom and gloom to Party Land! In an unique twist to Mario Party, one mode of the game (unlocked when you beat the main game) has the four friends riding Bowser's
roller coaster of DOOM and playing Bowser's violent minigames (Yes, the games Bowser makes you play are very violent, involving killing Koopas with guns and running them over with zambonis, then packing them in capsules and shipping them away) to reach the end of the roller coaster. That is one of the most fun parts of any Mario Party game ever. That's one of the best things in game. The only downside to this overall fun, but slightly violent game is that the Penguin Races mode is downright lame.
