Check out the E3 trailer for Mario Party 9.
hahaha there are 2 many memories from Mario party's because i think they put some old mini games from the older games haha time to party with mario, yoshi, peach, toad etc haha cant wait :D
I went to check the french site for the review and it looks really promising from what I read. Each board will hold a boss battle.
I haven't held up as much interest(I won't lie and say they've looked absolutely stupid)in the Mario party series since 4. It always felt like that one series that gets so many titles released that they milk it dry(Activision with Guitar Hero/Tony Hawk possibly CoD anyone?). But this one, while I'm skeptical of the car thing, the games actually look really freaking fun, like holy crap, I want this now!
The mini-games look pretty good. I'm all for another Mario Party. (hope that car thing is an option, looks lame.)
THIS GAME NEEDS MATCH MAKING! Matching making for specific mini games like: free for all, 1v3, 2v2, and also full game matching. Leader boards would be awesome as well. I would be SO much more interested in a new Mario Party if the Wii could muster up some decent online.
@D4rkside99 Maybe it's just that particular board that is played that way. Or you could be right and they've decided on a new turn system.
I dont get why all the characters are moving around the board in a car, does that mean you dont take turns independently or something?
i hope they make this one with a story line for once, like in 3 (or maybe 2...), not to say i don't like mario party of course (except for 8 >.
After all these years, the best theory I can come up with is that people who actively dislike Mario Party are embittered, friendless trolls. It's simple, dumb fun. That said, there's ALWAYS room for another one. Wii Party was alright, but I'm glad it wasn't a permanent replacement to the Mario Party series.
ok when is the game is going to be out? please dont say 2012?? hope every character got a unique ability like mario party 7^^
happy for this game but i do wish Nintentdo would update there games and systems. like i think the wii should have kinda stuff like trophies or achievements like the ps3 and the xbox 360. they could make like medals for their games cause i know of a lot of people who love collecting stuff like that and sharing them to the world.
I...I...ugh. Nevermind. It's too easy to crack a joke about this. Please Nintendo, don't do another one.
i hope they use more elements from the motion plus to create better interact minigames
i think the kart was added to manipulate the other players more or something like that
I just never saw the point in more than one Mario Party game per console. We got 3 with the N64 (all of which were fantastic) 4 on the GC (Mario Party 6 and 7 made me vomit) and now we're getting another one on the Wii? I'm sorry, but some franchises just shouldn't reach nine games. If anything they should just save this for the Wii U.
My problem with Mario party you can be this most skilled player and lose to someone who won all the welfare stars .
This looks really good! I'll be getting it as long as it's better than Mario Party 8, and it already does seem like it.
They need to finish the Mario Party series, or at least make a good one. I haven't enjoyed one since Mario Party 4 on Gamecube. What they need to do is revamp all of the previous maps from ALL Mario Party games and cram all the minigames(plus new ones) into one huge game that gives gamers more for their money. But, what are the chances of that ever happening?
