A board game for the console

This is a fun game, and its gameplay is simple, making it very accessible to anyone who just wants to sit down and have fun. Your characters will move around the board and at the end of each turn, each player partic... Read Full Review

What Gamespot Users have to say about Mario Party 5

Mario Party 5 is still a must have party game to play with friends, even if the modes seem to be lacking a bit.

I remember receiving Mario Party 5 for Christmas in 2003. Presentation - The intro just starts off with several game play trailers. Party mode has several new boards like Toy Land, Outer Space Land, Sweet Land, Bowser... Read Full Review

A great game that anyone can pick up, at any age!

I have to admit, I was skeptical about this game at first, but my girlfriend was the one who turned me onto it. She absolutely loved Mario Party 4 so I decided, what the heck, I'll give it a go. Needless to say, we've ... Read Full Review

    Don't buy!!!

This is a medicore game. The graphics are bad. The game is way too easy for the single player game, and the same thing for the mini-games. There's something in this game called the super duel mode it's more like the st... Read Full Review

There’s been a Mario Party every year since 1998. Nintendo gamers all over the world thought that the series would finally end when the third installment was the last of all Mario-brand titles on the Nintendo 64. A yea... Read Full Review

    This game blows. Nuff' said.

Hi I am InnerScribe reviewing another letdown of the Mario Party series. And I wonder why they keep making these Mario Party games when they could be making stuff much better like Zelda, New Mario Brother, and a few more... Read Full Review

Three times the charm...or is that five?

Mario Party 5 is the fifth game in the Mario Party franchise...how obvious was that? The game is hosted by, believe it or not, the seven Star Spirits from Paper Mario. Three new characters have now joined the party in th... Read Full Review

It is extremely difficult to choose my favorite Mario Party, but this is probably it.

There is something that seperates all the Mario Party game from each other. 1 has Mini-Game Island, 2 has changing costumes, 3 has duel mode, 4 has present collecting, 6 has the Mic and rule changes. But this one has the... Read Full Review

    Let's Get The Party Started!

Yet another Mario Party game! Same old story board game with special power ups trying to collect more stars. This is a great party game (hence the name Mario Party 5). This is one game you wouldn't play by yourself but a... Read Full Review

Not as good as some previous, but will do.

Mario Party 5 is a good party game, at best. Gameplay: 7/10 - Good Gameplay is pretty much the same as the older games. They now use capsules instead of items, which you can place on the board, or use on yourself for... Read Full Review
