While some more improvements could've been made, this is a very good game that should be given a chance.

First, let me start off by talking about the graphics. They are amazing. The designs of the different levels are very well done, very colorful, and overall, just awesome to look at. As far as the character selection is concerned, there are a lot of good choices. Nine of them are veterans from the three previous Mario Kart games, while the other eleven are new to the series. All of the characters have their own special items which are unique to them, like Mario and Luigi with Fireballs; Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong with Giant Bananas; Yoshi and Birdo with eggs; and Wario and Waluigi with Bob-ombs. Now we come to the tracks. There are sixteen courses, divided into four cups: Mushroom, Flower, Star, and Special. A fifth event, the All-Cup Tour, has the player race all of the tracks. The tour always starts with Luigi Circuit and ends with Rainbow Road, but the remaining fourteen tracks show up in random order. One course has you going through Mushroom City at night, another has you going through the evil Bowser's castle. This game also has a well done multiplayer level, with not only races, but battle modes as well. Overall, while some more improvements could've been made, this is a very good game that should be given a chance.
