I got this game on launch day and has been my favorite 3DS game ever since. There are 3 Main Modes: single player, multiplayer, or online multiplayer. The single-player modes include Grand Prix, Time Trials, Coin Runners, and Balloon Battle. The game comes with 9 characters and 8 unlockable characters. This game is very different from its predecessors because this time, you race on land, air, and sea. The multiplayer modes offer a number of options, including download play, local play, and internet play. Internet modes include VS, Battle, and Communities. Communities are groups of people. The creator of the community can set rules like what items are used. Here's the flaw with communities: Each community has a long code that people have to enter to join. It's not very easy to remember or even spread the code. Overall, this game is definitely worth it. There are very minimal flaws, and it's a joy to play.
