I haven't been interested in golf before, but this game made it fun.

It's time for the Mario Golf Toadstool Tour Review. For the Gamecube.

The only other Mario Golf game I have played was Mario Golf Advance Tour. Yep. I did not play the N64 version. I had no idea there was one.

Now, some players might think "Putting Mario in golf? Boring!" But it's really not. Some people might think golf is a boring sport, but it's not. I love golf.

So this game is about playing golf with Mario characters. There are different places to play with different characters. There are different mode. Stroke Play, where you can just go through a course while making the least amount of strokes, Doubles, where you can play two on two, ring challenge, you have to go through rings, Tourney, you have to get the best score(or in golf, rather, the worst score) in a whole course. If you win, you get new courses.

The graphics are great. No complaints here. They're cartoony, and very colorful.

The controls work fine. When making a shot, you have to press the A button to charge. You have to get the meter to the arrow of distance, then press A for an auto shot or B for a manual shot. If you use the auto shot, you have to hit the sweet spot by getting the line on the sweet spot. Do so and you'll have a perfect shot. If you use the manual shot, the meter will go back and you have to hit the sweet spot with the A or B button. If you hit the A button twice, then you'll get a top spin, hit B for a backspin. It may seem confusing, but it's easy when you play.

The camera was not the best. You could only see in your line of sight. You couldn't see around the whole course. You could work around it, but the problem is that you HAVE to work around it.

You can connect your Game Boy Advance if you have Mario Golf Advance Tour. You can port over your Neil and Ella and make them playable characters. At the same time, you can port over your different ordered clubs from the Custom Club Shop. If you play as Neil and Ella(or whatever you named them) you will gain experience points, and you can transfer them to the GBA.

The first few golf courses you play are the kind of courses you would find at a golf course. As you unlock more, they'll contain classic Mario elements. I liked the mix of traditional and Mario, because some people might wanna play a laid back game of golf with no other twists.

Mario Golf Toadstool Tour is a very fun game to play. Everything is good. The only downside is that the camera should've been worked on better. />

This game gets a 9 out of 10 with the title of Superb!
