Loved the Idea but every thing else was a blizzard or stupidity.

The Run Down:
Mario and Sonic at the 2008 summer Olympic games had a dreamed about idea. Having the cast from both games series play against each other in a streak of Olympic athletic events. From swimming to fencing this game has a wide variety of choices for you and your friends to play. It also included some hidden dream events which involve different game maps and stages. These events are a salute to the games that all these characters star in. The playable characters are as fallows. Speed: Sonic, Shadow, Daisy and Yoshi. Power: Knuckles, Wario, Donkey Kong and Bowser. All around: Luigi, Mario, Amy and Blaze.Skills (I have no Idea all of these are god awful): Preciseness Peach, Tails, Dr.Eggman and Waluigi.

The Good:
The Idea of all the characters of the legendary series meeting together on the Olympic stage was great and the graphics are good. I must say this was a well put to gather game as far as that and the sound goes. The general game play was OK and the animation of the characters was the best they could be.

The Bad:
The character stats were way off (not nearly as bad as on the winter Olympics but still bad) The favoritism toward the Mario characters drove me up the wall. I cant believe how biased these games are.

The Ugly:
The motion controls of this piece are the sole reason I hate it. I am an athlete, I work out and am benching around 250 and squatting 425. So I appreciate any games that get people and kids into doing any kind of physical activity in which they can be heather. But these game controls are way to hard to remember and understand. Jerks Conclusion:
After I have played this I hope that no one performs in the Olympics the way these guys do. This game is a **** sandwich for no one to enjoy. Dont believe a f@#%ing thing any one tells you about this one. If You want to play it for really rent it first and then make your mind up on this one. I am never that kind of guy to tell some one what they should and should not play, I want all of you to make your own educated opinions. If you want to try this thing out for your self check out the cheep bins at K mart or Wal-Mart. I would not pay no more than $5 for this one. 1 out of 10
