Mario and Luigi:Bowser's inside story is way better that it's predecessors.

I haven't really played Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story in quite a while, but I think it's way better than Partners In Time. You play as Mario and Luigi together as always, but you can also play as Bowser for the first time. Bowser is played separately, and you can either play as him or the Bros. Sometimes you will have to play as Mario and Luigi because Bowser may be obese and stuck on the floor. Even Luigi puts on weight with his special weight gain move. It's where he eats a lot of junk food, transforms into a Homer like ball from The Simpsons Game, and Mario has to hold him for a second. Fortunately, his weight gain move is very effective. After that, Luigi is back to his normal, skinny self again. LOL I wish I could lose weight fast like him. Unfortunately, Mario's weight won't be changed in this game, but he's pretty much medium weight anyway.

This time most of the Toads became morbidly obese, and Mario and Luigi apparently have to save them and Princess Peach again. There's a scene where some guy tricks Bowser into eating a poison like mushroom (I think), and to make him big and strong. Bowser accepts this because he wants to defeat Mario and Luigi for a change. Unfortunately, he swallows up everybody including the Bros., and he doesn't even know that Mario and Luigi are inside him. After that, the Bros. met up some guy named Chippy. He sometimes guides them on their quest. Their new quest is to get outside of Bowser. Sometimes they have to stimulate Bowser's muscles to make him move around or perform special attack moves such as breathing fire. Like I said earlier, sometimes you have to switch characters to complete certain goals. Eventually Mario and Luigi will escape from Bowser's large body, and they will move freely on land again.

Another cool feature about this game is you can play several mini-games and try to beat your own record. There aren't that many mini-games, but you can defeat the same bosses over again, and can change the difficulty.

Unfortunately, there isn't any multiplayer mode and Wi-Fi connection. Usually Mario games don't really have Wi-Fi anyways. This is practically the biggest disappointment to this game. I wish there was a mode where you can either play as Mario, Luigi, or Bowser, and play mini-games against each other, in a two player mode. The only thing that this game lacks, is a two player mode, and an extended replay value.

Overall, this game is definitely worth a buy. You will spend many hours trying to beat this game. It still has improved a lot from Partners in Time and Superstar Saga.

Presentation - 9 Usually Mario games don't have much of a story in depth, but this game has definitely improved greatly in this area. I like their special new moves, especially Luigi's weight gain move. They also improved on their signature moves as well.

Graphics - 9 The animation may still be cartoonish, but it does make it feel realistic a little more. Even the character's looks are less pixilated from Partners in Time.

Sound - 9 The music is pretty catchy, but Mario and Luigi still talk gibberish, and you can't understand what the heck they're saying. It's still pretty funny how they talk that way. LOL

Game play -10 The controls are very responsive, and you can also play as Bowser sometimes.

Lasting approval - 8.5 Although the other game modes lack, this is still a fun and an addicting game. You will spend a very long time playing this game. You can still play mini-games, wander around, or start a new file.

Overall: 9.1 I have to round it down a bit.
