This game takes role-playing games to a whole new level.

User Rating: 9 | Mario & Luigi RPG 3!!! DS
POSITIVES: Exciting, long, and very moving story. Superb characters (especially Fawful). Everything that has to do with attacks or battles is amazing and very "touchy." Great sequel. The bros are hilarious (espicially Luigi) and Bowser is, too. People can understand the entire story and game even if they didn't play the two prequels. Defenitely worth the money.

NEGATIVES: The fact that it's a role-playing game made me sad. The controls can be a little unresponsive. Mario and Luigi's special attacks don't use the stylus. Sometimes they can make Luigi too much of a sissy, and that is just wrong. The ending is sad, and ruins its replay value. Like a bunch of other games, when it ends, you can't save it and when you defeat the enemy it just disappears.

Okay, I be being a little too critical, but when I found out that this was a role- playing game, I was pretty disappointed. But that was until I got obsessed. Let's start with the story.

While Mario and Luigi are trying to find the cure for a disease called the Blorbs, Bowser is in a forest trying to find a way to crush Mario and Luigi. He finds a shop and sees a small person selling some sort of block. He buys it, hoping to finally destroy the bros. Instead, he starts sucking things up, including Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toadstool. Now, Mario, Luigi, and Bowser must find who did this and stop his evil doing.

In this role-playing game, every time you touch an enemy, you start a battle with it. (Like in Paper Mario). Like this game's prequels and unlike other role-playing games where you just sit back and watch your opponent go on fire and do nothing at all, you can control the attacks. For example, you can make the bros jump or make Bowser punch the enemy each turn. However, you have to be quick and hit at the right time. Or else your opponent won't take much damage. Special attacks are the best kind, espicially Bowser's. But they take away their energy (or SP) points, and you have to waste another turn and face the risk of your enemy defeating you. There are tons of enemies and bosses you can beat up. And, of course, it's a gut-busting hilarity.

This is a very fun game. I give it a 9 out of 10. Can't wait for the sequel!
