if your just trying to make your character look cool there is a wide array of clothing and armor but if your trying to make a cool looking character with good armor that demenishes your choices considerably. Some of the weapons are really good but are very stupid looking, seriously how is a janitors mop better than a freaking spear!!! There is also a great division in the classes if your a warrior you can only wear warrior or beginner clothes if your bowman you can only wear bowman or beginner clothes and the different classes clothes have completely different looks for example if your a warrior you can't wear one of the thieves cool caps. On another note alot of the monster are almost to cute to kill, it can be a little hard to go on wide spread killing sprees. There is also a lack of missions, some of the simplest of sythesizing ingredients are incredibly rare and the game seems to frown on fighting monster that are at a higher level than yourself (do they even what you to lvl up?) It shows this by if you do fight an enemy at a higher lvl than yourself you miss at an annoyingly high rate even if they could be only one lvl ahead. And the events that the GMs hold give no regard for the safety of noobs how many people were killed by candles in the new years event I have!!!
