Game series that needs to be remade. A true gem and classic of the beginnings of PC gaming.

As a young man I was exposed to the NES version of Maniac Mansion first. It was a while before I owned a PC to play it on. I was not disappointed at all with the experience even after all that time had passed.

This is a true classic of the PC era.

Please Lucasarts, look at the possibility of a remake or a new chapter in the series. I am sure that my opinion is shared by a great many that look to this game as the building block of our eventual gamer mentality.

Flash and glitter would not be needed, a little 3d manipulation might be a good idea, but the basic idea is still a solid one. This series and the Monkey Island Series will go down as the real reason that PC gaming eventually succeeded.

Without games like these there would be no Crysis, no Timeshift, no Orange Box.

So either remake or make a new one, or sell the license to someone that will.
