Though not the developing and publishing company's first game attempt, Maniac Mansion put Lucasarts on the map. It was just a precursor to other Lucasarts original classics such as Grim Fandango, Monkey Island, Full Throttle, X-wing/TIE fighter and Dark Forces. Mansion, like most Lucas-oriented projects, is ambitious and requires some creative and imaginative thought to delve (deeply) into the game; yet is greatly rewarding. Thanks again, Lucas for bringing the creativity, originality and innovation of Star Wars to the medium of gaming; and of course great and unforgettable memories. If you are at all interested in experiencing interactive entertainment history or interested in Lucasarts' original and unique approach at video games, this game is mandatory.
