- "Almost, but not quite"
This game had a lot of potential and got a lot of attention when it came up, the youngest child of the Rockstar family who everybody loves.
Having said this everybody expected a masterpiece of a game and held high expectations, which put the Rockstar team making this game under a lot of pressure and critisicm if anything went wrong.
Having said this i think the game definately had a lot to offer at first, with awesome ways of killing your enemies with hammers, plastic bags, bottles and so on. The graphics were pretty nice, the gameplay fairly fun until guns were introduced and the plot was very interesting and original.
As i said, when guns were introduced the game started to unwind and lost its whole stealth feel to it which had taken hours of time to create and play with to get just right, which is a shame.
The camera CCTV camera angles when you killed a victim really made the game feel more realistic, which I'm not sure if is good or bad as it made you feel slightly sick that you would do this to a person. The dofferent gangs really added and edge to the story line and whole gameplay, until when there were dozens of men facing you who you had to kill with some bottles and bags.
Still I believe this game was fairly good, could have been done a lot better, but still pretty good but not worth buying.

Very bloody and brutal. One of Rockstar's more infamous titles that despite it's content, is definitely worth a look.

Probably the most disturbing game that I thought was 100% enjoyable.

One of Rockstar's beautifully crafted bloody hidden gems. No surprise here, it's fantastic.

Another clever Rockstar fueled killing spree. Stealth gameplay meets GTA uber violence!
