Probably the most disturbing game that I thought was 100% enjoyable.
This game was disturbing and just down right nasty. The cover it self should tell you what this game is all about. The game book is a catalog for snuff film enthuses and mass murderers. The weapons description page basically says all these dandy's are tools of the trade. The games story has you play a man by the name of James Earl Cash. He is a death row inmate that is killed by lethal injection. But he later wakes up and hears a voice on his ear piece. This voice on the ear piece is none other that a Mr. Starkweather. Starkeather leads you though levels as you preform for his movies.You brutal murder every thing you come in contact with. You work your way through all the games gangs and eventually get to an asylum that is full of murderous psychos. You use an assortment of toys ranging from shopping bags to Machetes to make all your enemies wish they would have stayed in bed that day.
The Good:
This game had a great plot and story. This game brought to the table some of the most gruesome game play Ive ever done. I know Zoom in TV made a top 5 list of best assign's but you will not find James Earl Cash on there. I agree with them of not putting him on the list. Soul because he belongs on another list. Top 5 most hard core game characters. Im talking about how he will chop your buddies head off and through it at you.
The Bad:
This games game play was hard to get into at first. Any time a game is hard to get used to at first I look hard on it. This games graphics were great I get that. By why dose the lip movement have to look like crap?
The Ugly:
This game lead to allot of murders. I know I'm a huge advocate against blaming video game violence for real life violence. But the murders that spun off of this game were identical to the ones you have to preform in the game. It was not done by kids on kids it was 30 year old men killing people. This game is so violent a gruesome that they had to take all the original copy's off the shelf and redo a some of the graphics and soften up some of the gory cut scenes.
Jerks Conclusion:
This game is fun. I liked it a hole lot once upon a time. But now that Im older this game is evil. I will still play it but I warn you this game is bad juju. It will cause you to have evil thoughts and feel things you never thought you'd feel. Over all its a 9 out of 10. But do not play this game and expect not to go crazy.
