Manhunt User Review
Repetitve, boring, and too reliant on gore.

As much as cut scene deaths are more intense graphically, they take away the satisfaction of a good kill from the hands of the user. This is the greatest mistake manhunt made, and why games like Hitman 2 (for example) are much better purchases.
The gameplay is very repetitve, and the story is even worse...its ridiculous and unbelievable to the point where you don't know who your killing, why your doing it, or why you give a crap if your character dies a brutal death...who is the real bad guy even? Chances are the angry man we are controlling was in jail for some horrid crime to an innocent....yet we are supposed to want him to win? There is absolutley no emotional attatchement to the char and no reason to care to keep playing.
Using the machinery to gain kills in the game is also necessary and far too difficult, and usually far into levels after you have gone through a mission for about 20 mins. This is the most frustrating part, cuz you get to this machine that you are supposed to know how to use, yet is impossible to do, so by the time you figure it out you have done the same mission for about 3 days, and want to kill yourself, or at least stop playing.
The graphics are NOTHING to write home about, the sound is absymbal, and the overall value is not good.
The only thing to make this game a buy and not a rent is if you absoltuley can't find a good movie at your local movie rental outlet with enough gore in it to satisfy you.

Very bloody and brutal. One of Rockstar's more infamous titles that despite it's content, is definitely worth a look.

Probably the most disturbing game that I thought was 100% enjoyable.

One of Rockstar's beautifully crafted bloody hidden gems. No surprise here, it's fantastic.

Another clever Rockstar fueled killing spree. Stealth gameplay meets GTA uber violence!
