Not the game you would necessarily want to buy, but is worth renting.

User Rating: 7 | Manhunt 2 PS2
Manhunt 2 is an exciting stealth-action game with tons of blood, language, and every other thing that parents wouldn't approve of in a video game. Although the game has some serious content, it is a pretty good game that would be worth renting. My problem is that I think it's a little too hard and the producers could have done a lot better on creating this game. I've never played the first Manhunt, but it looks and sounds a lot better than this one. Now, I'm not saying that Manhunt 2 is a bad game. Don't get me wrong, I loved it for the five days I rented it. I'm just glad that I rented it first, because now it doesn't seem like a game I would want to have for whenever I wanted.

They could have made the movement and the use of weapons a lot more effective and fun. To me, it's just too hard at the parts where you have to use guns and take cover.

But one great thing about this game is all the different executions you can do with any weapon!! Oh, yeah, I got excited when I first learned how to do them!! For example, if you had a crowbar, you would have to stay behind an enemy and hold down L1. The longer you hold it, the more greusome the execution will be. There are 3 levels of execution: White=Hasty, Yellow=Violent, Red=Greusome. This is probably the most compelling part of the game because, if I remember correctly, the game was originally rated AO and they had to tone it down a bit. But during the executions, the screen will sort of flash different colors and it will make it harder to make out what your even doing. It may sound kind of dumb for the people who have not yet played it, but it is a very compelling and innovative part of the game.

This is a good game, but not worth buying. You should definitely just rent it once or twice just so you could see what it's like. But if you're just a feeble-minded person who gets enjoyment out of games with pointless violence, swearing, and nudity, and doesn't even care about the story or gameplay, you should go ahead and buy this game anyways.
