Super Duper Awesome

Every time I buy or even play an rpg, I'm looking for the same addictive 30-60 (at least) hour game play. The Psone had so many amazingly addictive rpgs that had easily over 60 hours (which is why it was the best system in my opinion) but in this day an age sadly story comes after graphics. Well in Mana Khemia I found just that, amazing game play from 30-40 hours. The sense of updated nostalgia reigns from every crevice of this game. This is the only rpg I've ever played where the story takes a huge back seat to the characterization. The way the characters are portrayed and their interaction within the school is so deep and well done I couldn't get enough. I've never laughed so hard at all the clever things the amazingly realistically developed characters said. Flay and Muppy could have their own tv show they were so good. I was so sad when I beat it, I went straight to the store trying to replace it; I needed more. The battles were beautifully portrayed and the grow book was a really nice touch making battling not so much important as the collecting of items. The free time side stories are incredibly funny nad entertaining, especially Flay's and Muppy's. I recommend this game to any gamer regardless of genre preference.
