Spyro a heroes tale is a game that has no features like the old PS1games did, and that's why it's boring and bland. For instence. The original Spyro titles has portals to enter certain stages. This game doesn't. All it has is 5 or more worlds that are absolutely long, boring and badly set up and the worst problem about it is that you'll have to go through tons of parts in a world just t ofind a single light gem or dragon egg. Which is very boring, fruserating, long and bland. The unlockables are not even worth going through all that trouble. The next diffrence is the fact that collecting gems is almost useless. As most spyro players know in the original games you must collect gems to advance to certain stages. But in this game all gems do is buy moneybags items in his shop or shop pads. After collecting gems they will automaticly pop up in the same places after collecting them and leaving the area. The good about the game is the graphics. In this game the graphics are quite decent and solid which is also very pleasing to the eye. The music is catchy and bosses and minigames are a good skill level. The voices are nicely spoken acsept for MoneyBags voice which is way diffrent and does not fit his personality. There is some extras and very smooth gameplay. So this is actually a decent game to play.
