I really do miss MVP 05 though. It had great features and gameplay. Was by far my favorite baseball game. MVP Baseball did better with their games in my opinion. I've never like 2K sports.

This game was not the total bust gamespot says it was, and fyi, this is gameplay footage for all the haters...they made this video from a replay. it better than 2k8, but still not as great, or pretty as 2k7

they try to make it look all epic....... it's not. maybe the stances and pitching motions are nice but gameplay esp fielding sucks

What has the world come to. God I miss MVP Baseball so much. MVP 05 was perfect, I've been playing that on my GAMECUBE instead of these games for the past 4 years...

I really liked what they did with the controls last year. Especially the pitching. Slight learning curve, but once you got it there is NO way you could ever go back to the button mashing. Looking forward to 2K9 in a big way. Go Phillies!

Looks great. Could be better than MVP2005 and ASB 2005. Could be the best baseball game in a long time!

The only way MVP baseball is coming back if EA drop the NFL incense and they are not going to do that.

It looks in-engine. Very hot animation. But its gameplay that's king - and you can't tell how good the AI is until you're actually PLAYING. Kinda cute, having this year's cover athlete pitching to last year's.

This is a trailer video. Not a video gameplay clip showcasing commentary or the batting/pitcher interface. MVP 2005 was a good game and if you'd rather play it then put it in your console and get on with it.

Is this supposed to get me excited about another lame mlb 2k game. I remember mvp 2005 and how it was one of the best mlb game engines of all time. The pace of the pitching/ hitting is always poor in these 2k games.. It's impossible to tell whether its a ball or strike.. I probably won't even rent this one

i can see they didnt fix the stadiums. The crowd still have no chairs and they are all sitting on the steps.

I agree with jrescan, EA's MVP needs to come back. EA had done a much better job with baseball games opposed to the other ones.

If they put the 09 stamp on 08 the show, updated the rosters and added the 2 new stadiums with no other changes...I guarantee it would still be better than 2K9. 08 was just so far ahead of 2k8 there's no way it can catch up.

MLB 09: The show is going to be the baseball game to get again this year. All of the improvements they made. They don't need to make any changes with the control scheme like 2k keeps trying to do. Wish EA would get back in to it though!
