What a Disaster...

User Rating: 2.5 | Major League Baseball 2K7 GBA
Disappointment sets in as soon as you bring up the main menu. all there is to do is a solo game, a homerun derby, and a all star game. Theres no season mode and you cannot trade players! Even selecting and scrolling through the teams is a nightmare: you cant move the cursor up or down, just left and right. sadly, things dont get better once you hit the field. theres seemingly only one stadium, all the players look the same, (tall, bald, no insignias/logos on uniforms) and the graphics look dated by about 10-13 years. Hitting is also a gamble: sometimes when it looks as though you missed the ball when swinging, you actually hit it; other times you'll miss altogether. So youre never sure whether or not you will hit the ball or not. Fielding is even worse. The controls are so delayed, the player movements are jerky and the pacing is so slow that you will end up turning off your GBA in disgust. The gameplay is also boring to say the least: the only audio you get here are muffled crowd cheering, umpire calls, and cheesy organ pep inducers and theres nothing even remotely familiar to baseball at all. Dont waste your time with this. play the console versions of this game instead.
