Jumps Up & Robs Him of His 3rd Home Run!

Don't let this happen to you!
Since MVP lost it's MLB players license, I've been looking for a baseball game to play. Still looking.

The good:
The pitching controls are good, and easy enough to learn, and you can hit your spots with a very reasonable amount of consistency.
The graphics are great, in fact better than 2k8 even. Fun to watch replays, as they look so realistic.
The announcing is very well done.

The Bad:
-I don't mind being taken deep, just not 3 times a game, even when hitting my location. What makes it even more frustrating, is the second thing about this game that ticks me off:
-When down, I go deep 2-3 times myself, only to hear/see, "He jumps up 3 feet over the wall to rob him of yet another home run!"
-Just hitting the ball is guess work. Getting the feel for speed and location is frustrating.
-Running the bases. Why do baseball games not operate the lead runner with a simple button push like MVP had.
In this game, you find the runner, look at which button controls him, push the button, than point him to the base you want him to go to. By the time you do all that crap, it's too late.
-There is a slight delay between telling your outfielder where to go, and him getting there. The fielding controls suck.

Basically, the game hit's too many home runs, robs you of too many, (which gets real frustrating, real fast), makes base running un necessarily complicated, and as awful fielding controls.
Too many fly balls which dunk in for singles, or skip by to the wall, as your opponent cruises into second, or third.....again.

I wish MVP still had the MLB license. I so wanted to love this game, but again, 2K proves once again they just can't make a baseball sim game worth taking seriously.
