This game is a nice baseball game. It has its down point and its up points. Let me break it down for you.

The Good: Wide variety of scouting reports from three years have been added to each players stats to make their gameplay as realistic as possible. Great, but not perfect gameplay, making the pitching and hitting easy by being able too change the controls, and camera angles for hitting and pitching. You can make the angles llok as if you watching the game on TV or many other ways. Good field teamwork, and nice excitement while hitting. Good franchise mode. Pretty decent multiplayer. Bugs from the other system versions of the game have been deleted.

The Bad: Outdated graphics, similiar to many previous games, maybe even worse. Terrible fan simulation, with no realistic asspect of fans whatsoever. Not a very good game announcing commentary, and no beginning game announcements such as players being announced, national anthem, etc. No batter walk up introduiction as featured in all other MLB games. No player introductions, and just avergage player face details. No after game celebrations, and no in-between-inning switches or dug-out camera views, it just skips right to the next team.

Overall, this game is worth playing, and is a pretty good baseball game. It is better then the other systems version of this game. If the retail price was a little lower it what be even more worth it. It is overall worth the buy, but only at a little cheaper price. For now, I would rent it, and when the price goes down, possibly get it.
