Great baseball game, really fun
This goes without saying that its single player mode is good, but not as good as MLB 2005. It really depends on the person. I still would recommend buying 2005/06 before this because it is more accurate and feels more like baseball. However many would argue this game has better graphics and lets you have more fun than doing just work. WHich is true.
The fielding in this game is pretty tough at first, and all your fielding is manuel, cant put it on auto like in mlb 05/06. Hitting is very simplistic, even easy. THe hardest part of this game i feel is pitching. As it can be extremely frustrating at times aligning the balls wit your pitch ( ._.). My favourite unique aspect of this game is the ability to play your own soundtracks of your favourite baseball players when they hit the field. I love it.
So try both games before actually buying. I reccomend renting this game first than the 05/06 series, just because of the more friendly fun atmosphere. Great game non the less. :)
