Prepare to watch a groundout on replay. Pitching is only thing enjoyable.

First off, the numpad controls are completely reversed... so pressing up throws home and left throws to first. Secondly, there are sporadic AI choices... like the outfielder throwing to the "cutoff man" who just happened to be standing near the pitchers mound instead of just tossing it to second base.

Also, your defense seems lazy and jogs slowly toward fly balls, seeming to give up when they get there. During My Player mode, sometimes the announcer, the career guy, and very loud music will all be going at the same time. Also in MP mode... don't expect your hits to dribble anywhere near the outfield for at least a season.

The most annoying thing during MP mode (as pitcher) is in between every batter, you're forced to pause for 3 seconds or so to see that your goals are such generic tasks as "get batter out" or "strike batter out" ...which is my goal with every batter anyways. Also, it doesn't make any sense that you are rewarded more points for getting a "force batter to ground out" achievement than for completely striking him out.

More ridiculousness is that if you throw only low pitches the opponent will never hit anything but grounders. And the grounder has a 90% chance to go right up the middle in between shortstop and 2nd base... over and over and over.

One final thing, I wish that when you throw a perfect pitch and get a "max" flash... that something actually happened. My max pitches have been hit into centerfield with as much ease as any other pitch. The max pitch should be unhittable or at least trigger a different pitch camera or animation. Very average game. Poo snickles.

The more I play this game, the more ridiculous it is. Batboys run across home plate as you're throwing warm-up pitches right at them. Announcers will declare things such as "fouls it off" as it flies out to center field or "looks as a strike goes by" as the batter is in mid-swing. My pitcher has 60 contact and 45 power at bat and I've yet to see any hits make it out of the infield. I've had one on-base all season and I've yet to strikeout. Also, I had a clutch at-bat... and it was a blurry POV staring at the first base coach, then switch back to regular cam mid-pitch... so... yeah.

After many many ground balls up the middle, I'm back with more gripes. First... I cannot beat the batter to 1st base. I try to cover first and even though I start when the ball is hit, the run animation doesn't start until you're halfway to the base. Second, my infielders are constantly catching flyballs to the outfield... like, standing right next to the fielder flyballs. And if an infielder is going for a looper over his head, the outfielders don't even move until the infielder misses it. And the commentators became repetitious on the 3rd game. I'm finished playing this "baseball" game.
