What makes this game so good are the responsive controls and the interesting variants of Tetris modes.

Magical Tetris Challenge is a game that features Tetris and Disney characters. Now that may sound like a quick buck making license job by the developers of this title but if you are aware of the acclaim this game has received you will also know that this game is more than just a slapped together advertisement for a theme park. Now, as you might expect this games core gameplay revolves around Tetris. If you are unfamiliar with Tetris then there is no need for you to read the rest of this review. What makes a good Tetris game technically is the responsiveness of the games control. This game has fantastic control and it is easy with little practice to place the puzzle pieces where you want effortlessly. But this is a game that goes the extra mile.

Capcom and Disney Interactive has made the simple game of Tetris a more whole gaming experience and made this game a great value by adding a quest mode. In this quest mode your objective is to earn and collect tokens by challenging your skills at Tetris games. Each character you encounter will give you a new Tetris challenge in which a new and interesting stipulation has been placed on the original game of Tetris. Furthermore these modes can be unlocked and selected for casual play after you are done with the quest mode and just want to kill some time.

As for the Disney characters, they look fantastic and the dialogue is true to character. In addition the music in this game is fantastic and catchy. The only disappointment I can nitpick at is the lack of any actual voice bites.

If you like Tetris then it is a good bet that this game will be a satisfactory addition to your game collection and if you like Disney character then it's even better. Whether you want an engrossing puzzle game or just a casual one, this game is for you
