I will admit when I first heard of MAG I was like oh yeah and you'll get 256 players on one map when pigs fly. Well they are flying all around my house..... Ok well maybe not really but this game surely delivered on the 256 players on one map at the same time. The game offers great game play for anyone who loves first person shooters. If you have played Call of Duty Modern Warfare and loved it then you'll be right at home and really enjoy MAG. The controls are a bit different and will take a little while to get use to but within a few matches they will fit right in. Combat is smooth and fun and very fast paced. With enough weapons to keep even the most hardcore players busy but enough forgiveness to give someone new an easier time, MAG does a great job in both ways. The graphics are not quite as polished as they should be but they had to make a trade off for network performance. All in all the graphics look on par with any of the other combat games that are currently on the market. If you love first person shoots with the online option the this game is for you. The lack of a stand alone play mode is a little of a let down but you get use to network play only pretty quick. I mean who in today's gaming world has not played and MMO. I give this a 9.5 out of 10. And its well deserved.... If you have not played the game its worth the purchase.
I usually don't write reviews but I'm going to say my peace about MAG. I give it a score of 8.5 and that's only because there's no single player. If there was a single player I'd give this game between 9.0-9.5. LIke many... Read Full Review
