Mafia is a great oldie that people like me will remember for a long time. there are definitely some bugs and crashes that still need to be fixed, but besides that, its a great game
Gameplay
Mafia is a 3rd person shooter, and the controls for the most part are fluid and respond well, and are mapped to smart keys. You go around doing jobs for the mob boss Salieri, and they are varied, fun, and pretty challenging for the most part. dont play this game without a guide somewhere. Everything is made a lot harder by the checkpoints, and the lack of a quick save system
Graphics
This game was made in 2002, so of course the visuals are pretty dated, but things are sharp and smooth, and the engine holds up well considering how old it is. The framerate stayed pretty constant, but i had a few crashes with the game itself, sometimes making me restart the mission. Overall, very polished but dated
Story
Mafia's story is interesting and the voicework is spot on. Very intense, and without giving anything away, there are a lot of plot twists and turns, but its easy tounderstand whats going on.
Mafia is by far, on the best games i have played in a while. I recommend it to any patient gamer who likes a good story and some fun gameplay
