One of the best games ever released.

I'll start by saying i doubt many will agree with how highly i rate this game, it is my favourite game of all time and would take alot to remove it from that status.
But anyway, Mafia is without a doubt a tremendous game, for any console user. It captures that mafia fell which you do not get with most mafia games.
The protaganist is Thomas "Tommy" Angelo, who is a simple taxi driver or was. While doing a night shift two men quickly run into the car and order Tommy to get them away from their persuers (a rival family). These two men are called Paulie and Sam, who will become Tommy's bestfriends in the game.
They escape the other family and the Don of Paulie and Sam's family, Salieri, offers Tommy a job.
Now as you may be able to tell, the story is unbelieveably amazing such creativity. The driving is fun and the gameplay is fantastic.
It does top the sequel Mafia 2 by some difference.
Sadly Mafia would not be as fun to play as it was all them years ago.
But it will not be forgotten as one of the best games on ps2.
