Better than SC2, but not the impact that SC was.

The graphics in the game remain relatively the same as in the last game. The character models do look a bit sharper and the backgrounds do have more detail. There are also some very impressive lighting effects found on some of the stages.
The sound also remains relatively impressive due to the inclusion of music from SC, SC2, and new music made specifically for this game. Some of the returning characters due feature new voice work. This is awkward at first, but you quickly grow use to it.
This game has a lot of extras and movies to unlock. A dedicated gamer could probably unlock everything in about two weeks. It's disapointing that Namco couldn't include online play. This is by far the most disapointing thing about this game.
Overall, the new modes and characters, as well as the unlockables, are enough to satisfy any fan of the series. The game may not have online play or the impact that SC had, but it's still a darn good fighting game.
