Excellent shooter, everything gamespot.com says is true, I just really feel ripped for how SHORT the game is. This game is damn near perfect, really stellar graphics and great musical scoring and nice attempt with the licensing. I wish Vito was able to interact more with his surroundings but the game is superb, just TOO SHORT. For the full price there should be a full game. Playing on Hard difficulty is the most fun and will extend your game time slightly though this should be half the price and titled Mafia 1.5 I'd rate it 9.0 or maybe more if it wasn't so short. Rent this game and love every minute. Do not BUY this game or you'll feel cheated. The proper role out of this game should've been something like Grand Theft Auto IV when Rockstar released Stories from Liberty City. Had 2k games gone this route, pricing Mafia II more appropriately, the purchaser wouldn't feel there were something more to be desired as far as the length is concerned. Could've been perfect, should've been longer.
