User Rating: 9.5 | Madden NFL Football 3DS
Even though the 3DS hasn't been praised too much for its launch lineup, doesn't mean there aren't a few diamonds in the coal mine. Madden NFL Football is one of those special few. This installment of the Madden franchise for the Nintendo 3DS packs all of the fun of a console game and packs it into a small package. The game takes full advantage of the graphics of the system to look better than any Madden game the DS and it doesn't dissapoint in entertainment either. You have a variety of basic Madden game options to choose from like Season, My Madden, and quick play. When you get into the game you would be surprised at how impressive the game plays. You can either open the playbook or let gameflow do all of the complicated work and just enjoy the football game. Once the play is called you begin the countdown to hike the ball. From here, each receiver is assigned to a button that can be passed to upon pressing the button over the chosen receiver. If the ball is caught, then you can control this player with the brand new circle pad. As for season mode, it works just like it does on any other system. Choose your favorite team and win your way to the Super Bowl. Another highlight of the game is the terrific announcing. It makes each game feel like a real NFL game.

With every food game there is bound to be a few flaws and this is no exception. On occasions your defensive lineman can glitch and stop moving forward. This next one doesn't bother me but I know it means something to alot of people- the AI is extremely easy to beat. I have only lost one game so far and every win has been with a score of at least 42 points on my part.

Final Bite- Madden NFL Football is one of the better 3DS games around right now. With a combination of gameplay, graphics, presentation, and being fun in general, this one stands out quite a bit above the others.
