Hit stick saves the day!
Gameplay 9/10
Dont play this game on easy as it will get extremely boring, work your way up to all pro and all madden, there you will actually have to make smart decisions and wont burn the other team on 80 yard runs everytime you touch the ball. As i said, game was totally saved by the hitstick, it is the most satisfying thing to ever be applied to a football game.
Graphics 8/10
Compared to nfl 2k5 these graphics seem very, very, dated but i think 2k5 was ahead of its time so its okay that madden lags behind a little bit. Sometimes youll see tacklers arms or legs go through whoever he is tackling but this is normal in a football game and is only noticed when you watch the instant replay.
Sound 10/10
What more can you ask of a football games sound than loud tackles, good announcing, and loud, loud crowd noise whenever you break off a big run or snag a long pass. Madden delivers on all fronts.
Value 10/10
Dont all football games have great value? Just enter franchise mode and go through season after season, draft new quarterbacks, pick up some great running backs and play till you cant stand football anymore.. which isnt possible.
