This is exactly the way a football game is supposed to be. Gameplay- Madden is enjoyable. The gameplay is never too fast but never too slow. The passing and running game is balanced and the computer A.I. is great. On Pro, the scores are always realistic and never blowouts like 80-0 unless you've been playing the game for over 3 months. Then you move to All-Pro. The difficulty settings are great. Controls- The controls are good. All the special moves are balanced and not too powerful. The juke works good against one opponent but just like in real life, if a team is going to gang-tackle you, they will. Graphics- One of the best looking games on the PS2 and THE best looking football game. The framerate never dips down to under 40 and the replays make the plays look even more cinematic. The menus are user-friendly which is always great. Replay- Madden is the king of replay when it comes to football. With the madden cards, 2 minute drill, training mode, season, franchise(which has a pletora of modes by itself as well) and much much more, Madden will keep you playing well after the regular season is over. Overall- The best football game I have ever played. It beats out NFL 2k2 in alot of categories, and while NFL 2k2 can easily hold it's own, this year, the crown goes to Madden.
