Madden 2000 is a masterpiece. It was the first Madden I actually played for long periods of time. The game modes in this game include Exhibition, season, francise and quick play. I personally hate quick play, but I thought Exhibition was wonderful. You can pick each team choosing from current teams or classic teams. You can make great match-ups like the 85 bears vs the 65 packers. Then there is Franchise mode. Francise mode is great. You can re-sign players, cut players, trade players, and change you depth chart. Sure there isn't a whole lot to do compared to Madden 05 but it will still keep you buzy. Before the start of each season there is a little intro with James Brown, John Madden, and Pat Summerall. It is really cool and it is actually pretty specific. Overall this game is so cheap you should just go buy beacause it fun to play every now and then to see how much footballl games have evolved.
