Didn't think it could get worse. I was wrong.
By far the worst since I started playing them (Madden 06).
No player editing, same old playbooks, worse (which I didn't think possible) commentary, horrible scouting (including the game crashing too regularly while you're scouting).
Amazingly bad gameplay issues, including, but not limited to: 300lb DE's with 65 speed running away from WR's and RB's with 90+ speed all the way to the house after fumble recovery / interception, can't key on a player like you used to on defense, no blocking on kick returns, and many, many other problems.
It's like the graphics department was the only one working on the game, whereas the folks responsible for the actual gameplay all went on strike.
About the only good thing is that the speakers don't randomly blow up like they did on Madden 12.
On a scale of 1-10, I think I'd have to give this one a 1 (and that's only because zero wasn't available).
