- Sep 15, 2012 11:44 pm GMT1st year; Konnor Sheppard(QB) Draft
He was the first ranked pick at the start of the season. The Tweet was:
''No one is coming into the college season with more expectations than Alabama QB Konnor Sheppard.''
But at week 7...
''In a big game against Ole Miss, Alabama QB Konnor Sheppard threw three interceptions, which now has scouts questioning his big-game ability.''
... He was now the ninth projected draft pick (he is still in fact because i'm at week 8 of my new online cc). The first projected pick is now Slim Jenkins, ''An Ohio State's LT powerhouse that scouts can't ignore''. Todd McShay wrote about him:
''If LT Slim Jenkins can watch his weight, an issue he struggles with, he's a concensus top 3 pick. He's that good.''
Jaylin Greene LOLB is the third projected pick. Curious thing: Todd McShay said that he's a ROLB... but he also said that he's ''Mario Williams part 2. Could be the best defender of the year''.
Armani Gray is Ranked 10th for the moment and he's the only one that I mentioned that I scouted.... again: for the moment! His Tweet was about him being the ''Heisman favorite'' and ''The next Adrian Peterson''. He's fast (88).
EDIT: Another message (it was a tweet... but I'll call it message) about Konnor Sheppard after his ''Rough Day'' said that the three interceptions are probably eating him right now (or eating him from inside; not sure).

Signature - Sep 15, 2012 10:50 pm GMTFigured I'd throw in the guys I found in my Racouer class.
I took Spencer Hood with the 19th pick, traded up for him. Superstar development SS who starts as an 81. Awesome pick.
Next steal was mid 3rd round Lugo MLB. He dropped for character concerns. Keep in mind it's possible that he only dropped in a unique version, but 86 speed 81 overall.
And the real steal of the draft was 5th round 78 TE Banks, a 6'7 TE with 88 speed! An absolute monster.
CJ Gortman can be had real late at WR with 99 speed.
Overall a good class. - Sep 16, 2012 1:15 am GMTMaddMan999 posted...

Week 9!
Todd McShay Wrote:
''Jaylin Greene was making a case to be a top 5 pick, but a torn ACL throws everything into flux.''
Season ending injury; he's now projected to be the second pick of the second round.
Armani Gray is now third pick.

Week 11; Sim Jenkins got fat!!!!!
''LT Slim Jenkins gave up three sacks against a Northwerstern team that upset a far stronger Ohio State squad.''
He's now projected to be eleventh. A wide receiver is now the first (Al Wells: 6'4''-231lbs-83spd(wont try to get him)). Armani Gray is still second............. I'll still get him! (He run for 237 fictive yards in a fictive game last week........ How do you call that???!!!???
Fictive Talent.)

There are a couple of great players in that draft that I picked up when I played it.
RG: Drew Onkka, available in the second round. I picked him with the last pick of the first, so I don't know exactly where he'll land. He's a "Big Mauler" with superstar development. 89 overall. He's been solid for me so far.
SS: Jalen Dickerson, a late round steal (projected 7th rounder). Superstar development, overall in the 80s.
WR: lotusfathter gave a rundown of the standouts for this draft earlier in the thread; you should find that post. I wouldn't say this is a great WR class, but I did pick up Gilbert Black (projected 4th rounder) and I've been happy with him. Someone else mentioned Lakieth Hill as a fast wideout available in the second, but I didn't take him so I can't really comment.
Don't remember any standouts at the other positions you mention, but I am just going off of memory from what I did with that class; don't have a guide, and my needs were of course different. It is also a rich CB class, so even though you don't list that as a need, you may want to drop a pick on one of the several solid CBs in this class. - Sep 17, 2012 10:37 am GMTI have the Konner Sheppard draft and I need OL, DL, CB, LBs and Safetys...any good players at these positions?

There's this MLB that I scouted (I did not pick him yet, the season is not over):
1st pick of the 7th round <O'chea Poole> 6'1''-248lbs -Ovr:C -Spd:74 -Str:71(Not very good but.....) -Tackle:81 Hit Power:95 -Injury: 98 -Stamina:C
I don't know why but I like him.
Two Corners that I scouted:
25th pick of the 2nd round <Latevin Perry> 6'0''-207lbs -Spd:95 -Agi:96 -Acc:90 -Man Cover:81 ------Type: Man ------Scheme: Attack 4-3
3rd pick of the 3rd round <T.J. High> 5'11''-205lbs -Spd:91 -Agi:92 -Acc:90 -Man Cover:82 ------Type: Balanced ------Scheme: Hybrid
(Both have C in Play Recognition and Zone Coverage)

I'd love a copy, too. I've got the draft with QB Rancour.
I've sent you a PM with my email. - Sep 17, 2012 4:01 pm GMTi think rookie scouting is not fun and that using these guides to draft rookies is more fun because you find the best players right away and get to pick your favorites/needs and actually use them on the field. i hate rookie scouting and think it's boring and being stuck with 5 s*** rookies that i end up cutting anyway so these guides make my madden experience more fun. They also encourage me to go decades deep into the franchise mode. anyway that's just my opinion and experience.
