It's kind of disappointing, but at the same time it's a good game. It really feels like a clone of 2005.
The Superstar mode is supposed to give you an idea of what it's like to be an NFL player...it doesn't. I played this for a couple days until i got sick of the text messages and seemingly pointless interviews which had no impact on your popularity, exposure, or marketability. It's almost like a franchise mode any depth whatsoever. The whole experience just feels incomplete and was very disappointing. In fact the mode is the only reason i got the game.
The QB vision is eh...ok. If you got used to the playmaker controls you'll have to relearn them all over again, as the QB vision is now used on the right anolog stick. The vision control is...bearable. It's tough to say whether it's good or bad. Some people will like it and others won't, so my suggestion is rent the game or try it at a friend's house and see how you like it.
So those are the new features...yes, that's it. As for everything else it's basically the same. The sound and graphics are good, and the franchise mode still has all the in depth stuff nerds (like me) will mess with. The only problem on the field that i see is that most receivers and cornerbacks will still drop passes every once in a while, and sometimes the scores go REALLY high. Besides that I thought it was fine.
My final suggestion: rent first.
