Great old school rpg game. For its time very good graphics, sound and cutscenes.

For an older rpg like this its probably one of the best. Since it was for the Sega CD it probably wasnt nearly as popular as it woudl have been otherwise. It has a nice sharp look and great sounds along with cutscenes and some parts of voice acting. For 1993 this was kind of a big deal. It has a nice little story to it, pretty typical premise but well developed. I liked the way the battle system was laid out, unlike final fantasy there is actually positioning on the battle field which is pretty fun. The game went by pretty fast for me without any roadbumps, didnt really struggle with any battles at all, not sure if I was just too levelled up or because the game is just really easy but either way, it is fun. Would recommend it to fans of old school style rpg games but no one else. The game has no sidequests, mini games, nothing other than the runthrough of the story which is fine, but all in all it wont take all that long to be completely finished the game, and there isnt alternate endings or anyting, so i woudl say the game has basically no replay value at all.
