Lumines Plus is like ''Tetris'' for the 21st century.

I have always been a sucker for ''Tetris'' clones that are really good and Lumines Plus is one of the greatest ''Tetris'' clones of all time.I finally as of last weekend got to play the 2 Player versus mode with somebody i know and they surprisingly sucked this time because they usually hold their own against me in a puzzle video game.Us playing the 2 player versus mode for the first time reminded me of why this latest installment of the majestic puzzle definitely should have been online multiplayer compatible for the PS2 because it really warrants that to it's very core. This was a golden opportunity for this magnificent puzzle game franchise to become even more popular than ever before especially for playstation gamers that probably will never buy the PSP just to own the first 2 brilliant installments of this underappreciated and instant classic puzzle video game franchise. The single player challenge mode is one way you can unlock all of the skins of the game. The only other way to unlock all of the skins of the game is the one player versus computer. These single player modes along with the awesome puzzle mode are very addictive and very, very challenging. If you suck at this game it's because you are the blame, not the controls of the gameplay which is perfect by the way unlike what i read about the puzzle game ''Mojo'' for the PS2.The graphics and sound are good enough for you to play this game until you beat it and good luck on doing that.I still wish that i could turn the background music off because the last time i checked i am not a fan of techno music but i do like new age music because it is relaxing and i think it can help reduce stress if i'm not mistaken.Even people who are not gamers at all should buy and play this game to death if they have access to a PS2 and like,LOVE,or at least are curious or interested in puzzle games because it definitely lives up to the hype so much that it really makes me wish i had owned the PSP and played the first 2 installments on that handheld portable video game system.
