The Best Puzzle-Game I've Ever Played!

User Rating: 9.6 | Lumines Live! X360
I'd always heard about how great this game was from people with PSPs. I kept thinking, what the hell would make someone want to play a Tetris Clone on such a nice piece of handheld equipment?! I WAS VERY VERY WRONG. This is easily my favorite XBL Arcade Game to date!

GAMEPLAY
WONDERFUL! The controls are very easy, but it's not really about that. It's all about matching colors, and it can get really hard. GRAPHICS
Are pretty nice. It's hard to impress anyone when you're talking about a game that's all about blocks that only come in 2 colors.... However, the Graphics are really nice. Not only to the blocks look great, but the backgrounds are mostly very interesting. Also, there's a music video that you can play in the background while playing, and there will be more added soon.

SOUND
Wow... For the first time ever I can actually say something about the sound, as I do not use Custom Soundtracks while playing this game. SOUND happens to be one of the greatest things about Lumines Live. It's mostly House Music, which I dont like... but I really don't mind it here. Why? Because every move you make with the blocks, pearls, metal pieces, etc... makes a certain kind of sound. Whether it be a voice saying "YEAH!", or just a simple buzzing noise. You'd think that would get annoying, but it's not at all. The most amazing part about this is that even though you're not playing in sync with the music, everything you do seem to fit in perfectly!

VALUE
AMAZING VALUE!!! How come? Easy. Not only is it an amazingly addictive game, but there are different skins and background every couple of levels (or is it every level?). Anyway, once you get use to the game you'll probably find yourself looking forward to finding out what the next set looks like. There are A LOT of sets, and you HAVE TO PLAY THE GAME to earn them for keeps. IMO - This is the best XBL Arcade Game they've got. Yeah, it's 1,200 MS Points, plus another 600-800 MS Points for the packs (which are optional), but it's all worth it. Even without the packs the game could freakin go on forever, and I like that.
