Luigi's Mansion is a launch title for the gamecube, and a great one at that, only big letdown is that it's short

Now, the plot of Luigi's Mansion, is that Luigi is on his way to see this mansion in contest he didn't even enter in. Why can I have that kind of luck? I mean think of it. Sadly this mansion is not your ordinary Wayne Manor. It's more on the Haunted Mansion sorta deal. It gets worse, Mario is trapped in a painting in the mansion, ok, first things first, how the **** did he get in the painting, you'll find out once you go through the game.

You play as Luigi, your spooky quest is to rescue Mario from the terrible mansion. You are armed with only a flashlight, and your device that catches ghosts. No, it's not a proton pack, it's a vacuum cleaner, yeah, a mother****ing vacuum cleaner. It's called the Poltergeist 3000, given by this scientist called Prof. E. Gadd. Who also invented F.L.U.D.D in Mario Sunshine. Ok, the idea is suppose to be funny, but i find it gimmicky.

This game got a lot of smack by some reviewers, but i really enjoyed when i was younger, i still do today, but the only thing that sticks in your brain, is the weird ghost you encounter, theres Father Ghost, Boolosses which is a 15 boos combined, The Butler Ghost, you even get to fight a so-called Bowser at the end, yeah, it's King Boo. Bowser throws these bombs at you, you suck them up with you vacuum, and blow his head off. One big problem is that the game is gonna get short, first time i beat the game in 8 hours, but then with more experience i can beat it in 2 hours, try 100% it, and beaten it in 4 and a half hours.

Controls are responsive. Graphics for 2001, i think, are really impressive. Luigi's Mansion is a mario game where you play as Luigi, with a vacuum cleaner with ghosts, and you can't jump. It's basically "Luigi the Ghostbuster." But this was one of my first gamecube games, and one of THE FIRST gamecube games, this game was a launch title. and is a Great one at that, only big letdown is that it's short
