After many years of waiting since the release of the first Luigi's Mansion for the gamecube, I have to say, worth it.

The game is truly awesome from start to finish. The games graphics work extremely well with the atmosphere of each mansion and the 3D is perfect. The controls are surprisingly excellent for a handheld game. The cast is also excellent with the timid Luigi and his never ending reluctance of doing missions, Professor E. Gadd's witty charm and cheesy jokes, the ever classic toads who cling to Luigi with terror, and the unique personalities of each kind of ghost. The mansions were also very well done, the only problem was that I feel that there could have been at least another mansion or two. That would have been spot on. The plot was great but not perfect. The opening scene already has you knowing who the main antagonist is but the near the end there is a great twist after gathering quite a few pieces of the Dark Moon. I feel that this game could score higher if Nintendo plans to possibly release new mansions as DLC. Unlikely but still an awesome concept. The multiplayer is a little lacking. The online can be a bit dull but is quite entertaining at times when playing locally with friends. Overall, an excellent game from start to finish and was well worth the wait.
